| Our club has a great opportunity to work with a local archaeologist. He is Dr. David Clark, a professional archaeologist living/working in Loudoun County. Check out his website: LoudounArchaeologicalFoundation.org. He has approached the club for assistance with a program that he is involved with (see the flyer in the “News” section). He needs the loan of certain types of artifacts for this program. Artillery, personal gear, clothing, equipment, etc. Several club members have already stepped up, Denny C. is providing Artillery Shells / George S. is providing firearms / Joe S. is providing I.D. disks.
Please join in by contacting Frank at frank@imagesbydavido.com Please plan on attending the event, even if you can’t volunteer any artifacts or your time. It should be an interesting day for all involved and our participation may help our relationship with local archeologists.
